SC spikers beat Rocky JV

SHERIDAN — The Sheridan College volleyball team defeated Rocky Mountain JV (25-11, 25-17, 25-23) Tuesday night in Billings.

The team is 17-10 overall, and sitting at 3-3 in Sub-Region IX North play. They will play their final home game Thursday at 7 p.m., against rival Casper College (5-1 Region IX).

The event will feature the annual Pack the Place in Pink, Dig Pink fundraiser to support the fight against breast cancer. T-shirts will be sold for $15 and donations will be accepted at the door. The game will also be sophomore night, sending off the five departing players on this year’s roster.

Stat leaders vs. Rocky JV: Carley Gerving 11 kills; Britney Titensor 8 kills; Kaylin Edwards 4 aces, 9 digs; Jill Espeland 10 digs.
