SHERIDAN — Two Sheridan High School basketball players were selected to the 4A East All-Conference team Tuesday.
Reed Ritterbusch, a junior, and Dylan Daniels, a sophomore, were selected by the Wyoming Coaches Association after helping the Broncs to a 9-14 overall record in 2013.
Ritterbusch led 4A in scoring for much of the year, coming onto the scene quickly in his first year as a starter for the Broncs. He finished at 19.0 points per game, behind Gillette’s Cody Kelly at 20.0 ppg.
Ritterbusch shot 46 percent from the field for the season and 82 percent from the free throw line, tops in 4A for players who attempted more than one free throw per game. (3.0 FTM to 3.6 FTA pg). He made 2.2 of 5.8 attempted 3-point shots per game in 2012-13 season.
He averaged 5.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game, rated fifth and ninth, respectively in the 4A East. Ritterbusch’s 2.3 steals per game were fourth best out of all 4A players.
Daniels averaged 3.9 assists per game while scoring 11.4 points from the point guard position for the Broncs in 2012-13. He averaged 1.9 steals. his assist per game were seventh-best in all of 4A, and his steals were eighth.
All-State 4A players are voted on during the state tournament this weekend.
