SHERIDAN — Powder River Basin Resource Council will hold its annual meeting, dinner and silent auction Nov. 2 at the Holiday Inn, 1809 Sugarland Drive.

The annual meeting is for PRBRC members only, but the dinner and silent auction are open to the public.

Social hour and the silent auction will begin at 4 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:45 p.m. and the keynote speaker at 7:15 p.m.

Anthony Ingraffea, nationally recognized fracking scientist and critic, will present “Fracking for Oil and Gas: Bridge or Gangplank?”

Ingraffea is a professor of civil and environmental engineering at Cornell University.

The cost for dinner and the speaker is $30 for PRBRC members or $40 for non-members, which includes a one-year membership to PRBRC.

If you wish to only attend Ingraffea’s talk, the cost is $5 for members and $15 for non-members.
