Oedekovens celebrate 50 years of marriage

SHERIDAN — David D. Oedekoven and Diana M. Oedekoven celebrate 50 years of marriage today.

The Oedekovens were wed Nov. 20, 1965, in Sheridan.

David Oedekoven worked as a financial advisor for Stiffel Financial Services and as the owner/operator of Oedekoven Angus. While he retired in 2014, he is still active in the angus business.

Diana Oedekoven was a librarian until she retired in 2013. She is also still active with the angus business.

The couple has four children: Cynthia Oedekoven of Sheridan, Teresa Oedekoven of Evanston, Kevin (Sara) Oedekoven of Cheyenne and Mark (Kimberly) Oedekoven of Erie, Pennsylvania.

The Oedekovens will celebrate their anniversary with an open house for family and friends from 2-4 p.m. at First Christian Church in Sheridan on Saturday. The church is located at 102 S. Connor St.
