October 8, 1943 – September 2, 2017 Laurel Dean (Leo) Hoffer husband, father, son and brother went to be with our Lord at the age of 73 years. Leo will be forever remembered by his wife and best friend and also his precious children Laurie, Dustin, Drew and Anthony, brothers and wives Paul (Janet), David (Karen), Daniel (Suezette) and Quinton (Anita). Native of Nappanee, IN born on October 8, 1943 to Gerald and Laura Hoffer. Attended Dawson County High School in Glendive, MT and graduated in 1963. After graduation, he joined the U.S. National Guard and received an honorable discharge. Married his former wife and mother of 3 children in 1964. Transferred to Sheridan, WY with the Burlington Northern Railroad in 1976. He then remarried to his forever wife in Cody, WY on horseback in 1982. Worked for BNSF railroad for 32 years, retiring in October 2003. Leo and his wife Edwina then retired to Wickenburg, AZ in 2010 to be closer to their only grandson Dylan. He loved his 2 furry companions Duke & Daisy very much and made many friends at the dog park. He also volunteered at Wickenburg Community Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held at Wickenburg Bible Fellowship at a date and time yet to be determined. And another service in Sheridan, WY for his many friends there. The family suggest any memorials in Leo’s name be made to the Wickenburg Humane Society. Friends may offer online condolences at
