Chuck was born September 16, 1951 in Mt. Vernon, WA to Paul Blakeman and Vi Welter. Chuck spent the majority of his life in Wyoming. He went to school until his junior year at Sheridan High School. He then went on to work for Decker Coal Mine from 1977 – 2002. Chuck had a passion for cars. He raced stock cars from 1977 – 1978. He always said one of his favorite cars was a Mercury Chop top. He dabbled in mechanics, body work, and botany. He was a bona fide world traveler, and self-appointed fisherman. His biggest passions included his family, friends, and helping those he came across along the way. He married his wife Marissa O. Ferrer on November 19, 2003 in Marissa’s home country the Philippines. Chuck moved to the Philippines in 2013. He spent his summers in Sheridan, WY and spent his winters in the Philippines where he was working on building his own house. Chuck sadly passed in Alaminos, Pangasinan Philippines on October 3rd, 2017. Always with wit, never without a word to say, Chuck will be deeply missed by those whose lives he had touched. He is survived by his wife Marissa Blakeman, his children Shannon Marshall (Robert S Marshall), Hope Stephens (Thomas Stevens), Tylynn Jankovic (Jeremy Micke), Kienna Thorne (Matthew Thorne), Angel Blakeman, Jhay-R Martin, and Paul Martin (Charmain Martin). He has 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
