SHERIDAN — The National Council for Marketing and Public Relations District Four has awarded the Northern Wyoming Community College District three medallion distinctions at its annual conference in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

The NWCCD’s new website, which can be found at www.sheridan.edu and www.gillettecollege.org, was awarded a gold medallion, the organization’s highest honor. The district also received a silver medallion for the design of the Gillette College folder, and a bronze medallion for the Sheridan College 2016 magazine.

“We are incredibly proud to be recognized at this level by our peers,” said Wendy Smith, NWCCD’s director of marketing and public information. “I am particularly excited about the first-place medal for our new website. Creating, building and launching a new site for our district was a huge undertaking. Many, many people at the college helped provide input and content for that project, so we share this honor with all of our team.”

The NWCCD Marketing and Public Information team includes Smith, Dennis Jacobs, Mark Nitschke and Kara Bacon in Sheridan, and Brendan Diamond in Gillette.
