SHERIDAN — Local women are invited to attend a “Leap into Leadership” training May 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The Wyoming Women’s Foundation and the Wyoming Women’s Legislative Caucus is encouraging women to take professional and civic leadership positions.

Trainer Katie Groke Ellis will use a nationally proven curriculum developed by The White House Project that empowers participants to network, seek local women mentors and build a coalition. This training will help strengthen and develop leadership skills, give information about local boards and elected position leadership opportunities and provide opportunities for networking.

These trainings are geared toward women interested in expanding their local and statewide civic, professional and personal leadership roles. All participants must be registered by May 14. Registration is $25.

Early bird registration fee is $20 and available before May 3.
