SHERIDAN — Five members of the Wyoming Army National Guard’s Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 2nd Battalion, 300th Field Artillery, based in Sheridan, received the Wyoming Army National Guard Service Award with tenure device.

On July 20, Sgt. 1st Class Michael Dickerson of Dayton received the 25-year service device. Sgt. Joshua Mason of Sheridan, Sgt. Steven Parker of Casper, Spc. Douglas Widstrand of Sheridan and Spc. Nicolas Long of Laramie all received the five-year service ribbon.

The honor was presented to the soldiers for honorable service rendered to the state of Wyoming and the country.

Capt. Shawn Stensaas and acting 1st Sgt. Stephen Graham presented the awards.
