Parent Partnership to meet Monday


SHERIDAN — The Parent Partnership (formerly the Parent Advisory) will meet Monday at 6 p.m.

Topics of discussion will include common core standards and the digital legacy.

The meeting will be held at the Sheridan High School library, 1056 Long Drive.

The meeting is open to the public and attendees are encouraged to bring ideas or suggestions to present.

‘Managing the Generational Difference’ session Tuesday


SHERIDAN — The next Plus 50 Encore Class in the “Managing the Generational Difference” series will be on Tuesday.

This series of free classes is offered to members of the community age 50 and older at the Sheridan College Main Street campus, 171 N. Main St.

The topic of this month’s class is conflict resolution.

The class will be from 8-11 a.m.

Space is limited in each class and reservations are required.

Sheridan Memorial Hospital’s Christmas bazaar Thursday


SHERIDAN — Sheridan Memorial Hospital’s annual Christmas bazaar will be held Thursday.

Items crafted by hospital employees, volunteers and members of their family will be available for purchase from 4:30-7 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public.

It will take place in the downstairs cafeteria area, in conference rooms A and B of the hospital.

The hospital is located at 1401 W. Fifth St.
