Editor’s note: Due to incorrect information from Sheridan High School, one student was left off the list of AP Scholar Award recipients that ran in the Sept. 10 edition of The Sheridan Press.
SHERIDAN — Sheridan High School student Denim Lind has earned a College Board’s Advanced Placement Scholar Award for her achievement on AP exams.
Lind qualified for the AP Scholar Award by completing three or more AP exams with grades of 3.0 or higher.
The College Board’s AP Program provides motivated and academically prepared students the opportunity to take college-level courses while still in high school, and to earn college credit, advanced placement or both for successful performance on the AP exams.
About 18 percent of the more than 1.6 million high school students who took AP exams merited the recognition of AP Scholar.
