SHERIDAN — Larry and Loretta Pendergraft Ligocki will celebrate 50 years of marriage Sept. 2.

The couple wed Sept. 2, 1967, at Holy Name Catholic Church in Sheridan.

Larry Ligocki worked for Kiewit Mining and Engineering as a reclamation specialist for more than 25 years. While he is now retired, he continues to ranch in the Sheridan area.

Loretta Ligocki taught English at Sheridan High School for many years. Now that she is retired, she spends time gardening, reading, watching grandchildren and attending their many activities. 

The Ligockis have four children — Eileen McCafferty, Larry (Kim) Ligocki, Sarah (Matt) Thyfault and Aaron (Katie) Ligocki. All of their children live in Sheridan County.

The couple also has 10 grandchildren.
