SHERIDAN — The Wyoming Office of Tourism will host the next event in a series of events called “Wyoming Wednesdays.”
Informative and interpretive programs about Sheridan are being offered at 10 a.m. most Wednesdays throughout July at the Wyoming Welcome Center.
At this week’s event, John Woodward, director of the Sheridan County Museum, will share information about the historic mining towns north of Sheridan.
The events are free and open to everyone.
Attendees are encouraged to bring picnic lunches and stay and enjoy the visitor’s center before or after each program.
The center is located off of Interstate 90 on the Fifth Street exit.
