SHERIDAN — The Lady Generals volleyball team continued the fast start to the season, beating Rocky Mountain College in four sets on Tuesday.
Sheridan won the first two sets in a tight matchup, 25-21, 25-23, before dropping the third, 18-25. They quickly bounced back in the fourth set, winning 25-18 to give them their 11th victory of the season.
It was more domination at the net from the Jernigan twins that got the job done for Sheridan.
Hannah Jernigan had 17 kills and four assisted blocks, while her sister, Paige, recorded eight kills and two assisted blocks.
Rikki Huston and Jill Espeland handled things behind the front line, as Huston recorded 38 assists, seven kills, 10 digs and an ace. Espeland added 28 digs and two aces.
The Lady Generals moved to 11-4 on the season. They will play seven more road matches before finally returning home Oct. 2 for a matchup with Casper College.
