SHERIDAN — The Sheridan College Lady Generals split their Friday tournament games, defeating a Great Falls team in three before falling to a Rocky Mountain College team in the Golden Dome Invitational.
SC faced Great Falls Team B Friday afternoon, earning a victory (25-11, 25-15 and 25-17).
Friday night, the Lady Generals faced off against Rocky Mountain College Team A. No match scores were available by press time, but coach Jennifer Weitzel said her team lost in three.
“I thought we played really well both games,” Weitzel said. “The first game we played really consistently and hit really well as a team. We terminated the ball really well.
“In the second game, we still played well as a team, we just didn’t come out really strong and had a hole to dig out of,” she added. “We lost by a couple points here and there and had a couple mental errors in the end. But overall we played well and have a lot of momentum going into Saturday’s games.”
The Lady Generals will face Great Falls Team A at 9 a.m., Colorado Northwestern at 1 p.m. and Rocky Mountain College Team B at 5 p.m. All games are at the Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome.
