SHERIDAN — The Sheridan College Lady Generals decided six games was plenty Friday night, taking Eastern Wyoming College and Williston State College in straight sets.

The Lady Generals (9-4 overall, 1-0 conference) defeated Eastern Wyoming College (25-15, 25-23, 25-15) under the Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome at 3 p.m., took a quick breather, then hit the floor hard again at 7 p.m. on their way to a win against Williston (25-18, 25-16, 25-18).

Jenna Jordan played strong in both games with 19 assists and 6 aces against Eastern and 21 assists and 2 aces against Williston.

Carley Gerving led the Lady Generals in kills, with 13 against Eastern and 11 on the floor facing Williston. She also had four assisted blocks in the second game.

Tyler Chrisman also had 11 kills against Williston, in addition to five assisted blocks and three solo blocks. She threw up five blocks against Eastern earlier in the day.

Britney Titensor and Paige Jernigan helped lead the Lady Generals to their win against Eastern with 10 kills and seven kills, respectively. And Jill Espeland dug deeper than the wells in Williston with 21 digs in the three-set win over Williston State College.

The Sheridan College Lady Generals will play Dawson Community College at 4 p.m. today in Sheridan at the Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome.
