Lady Broncs shake off long trip, get first 4A East win in Laramie

SHERIDAN — The Sheridan Lady Broncs continued their roll, with a win on the road Friday in Laramie despite a slow start.

Head coach Jessica Pickett said that the long bus ride and an injured starter resulted in a slow start, but they came out of the locker room in the second half and secured a 56-39 win.

The Lady Broncs (12-1, 1-0 4A East) were led for the second-straight game by junior Taylor Townsend, who scored 16 points. Robbi Ryan added 11 points and Megan Myers scored 10. Sheridan plays Cheyenne South today in Cheyenne.

“If we play our game it won’t be a problem, but we need to make sure and play good basketball all four quarters,” Pickett said.
