SHERIDAN — Sheridan County School District 2 kindergarten screening appointments for the 2013-2014 school year are now available.

Appointments may be made by calling the district administration office at 674-7405, ext. 5105, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 29 through Aug. 9.

Children must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 15, 2013, to be eligible for kindergarten this fall.

If your child is not currently registered for kindergarten in SCSD2, you may register your child at the screening appointment.

Parents and guardians need to bring a birth certificate and immunization records to the screening, which will take about 30 minutes.

If you attended the screenings in April you do not need to attend these screenings.

Call Scott Stults, director of elementary education for SCSD2, at 674-7405, ext. 5108, with questions.
