Was sad to learn that Lucinda’s Artisan Gallery is closing in late March. Lucinda Terzieff’s emporium of fine goods and jewelry and unique items is one of the stores on Main Street with plenty of “cool” therein. Our daughter, Ryann, really enjoys shopping there while visiting from college.
Lucinda’s has been a Main Street staple for seven years. Lucinda and Terry are relocating to Cashmere, Wash., citing family concerns and a brand new grandbaby. (Congrats!) They plan to open a gallery there, which is in the heart of apple country, the Columbia and Wenatchee Rivers and other attractions.
In addition to their merchandise, Lucinda often featured live music and was active in the retail promotions downtown.
Week four of the spring Sheridan Film Festival features the much-acclaimed “Hitchcock,” a story about the celebrated film director and his little-known filmmaking collaborator, his wife, Alma Reville. It’s set against the backdrop of his 1960 film “Psycho” where Hitchcock put much personal wealth and professional credibility on the line to make it. Anthony Hopkins, Helen Mirren and Scarlett Johansson star.
Showtimes at the Centennial Theatre at 4:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.

They Said It
We are all a little weird and life’s a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.”
