SHERIDAN — Police have indicated the four-vehicle accident on Main Street Friday was caused when a driver of a Ford truck lost consciousness behind the wheel.
Monday’s police incident report indicated the truck left its lane of travel and collided with a parked truck. From there, a chain of events followed and two other parked vehicles, along with a street lamp and a tree, were also damaged.
The driver was transported to Sheridan Memorial Hospital. No other information regarding the accident was available as of print time. A more detailed report is expected to be complete next week.
