SHERIDAN — Sergio Rios and Joel Estevez will round out a Sheridan College men’s soccer program that brings six Sheridan products to the field this fall in its first year.

Head coach Austin Albers also announced that Nebraska native Josh Ivey has joined SC as an assistant coach.

Rios, a 5-foot, 8-inch midfielder, graduated from Sheridan High School in 2007, and Estevez, a 5-foot, 5-inch defender, graduated from Tongue River High School the same year. Both played for SHS and re-join former teammates Braydon Drell, Hunter Reece, Nathan Estes, Sumner Ellis and Scott Brown on the Generals.

Sheridan College begins practice Thursday and will play its first game in Aug. 15 at Rocky Mountain College in Billings.

The SC women added SHS graduates Baylee Baker and Whitney Gifford to the five local players already signed to the roster: Hartley Stewart, Stephany Sessions, Jacey Repsis, Celena Kelly and Macey Reid.

The Lady Generals began practice Monday. They play a home game Saturday at 4 p.m.
