SHERIDAN —Former Cowboy basketball standout Brandon Ewing will host a camp Saturday in Sheridan.
The camp will be held at Sheridan Junior High School, and feature skills clinics. The first begins at noon for grades four through six. The second is set for 3 p.m., intended for grades seven and eight.
Cost for the camp is $35.
To register contact Lindsy Lane at 307-871-2382. All proceeds go to benefit Ewing’s scholarship foundation “Once A Cowboy Always A Cowboy.”
Ewing’s organization provides scholarships for the purchase of books and supplies to Wyoming high school seniors planning to attend a Wyoming college. He has hosted clinics in Laramie and Rock Springs, with the hope for more around the state.
Ewing was point guard for the Cowboys from 2005-09, leading the team in scoring for four years and leading the conference for three consecutive years. He has since played professionally overseas in Israel and Greece, and in Iowa in the NBA D-league.
