SHERIDAN — On Sunday, the Downtown Sheridan Association board of directors, along with volunteers, will transplant more than 1,100 petunias into 225 pots for the annual Main Street flower baskets.

Anyone interested in lending a hand should call the DSA office at 672-8881 or email Beth Holsinger at dsaexecdir@downtownsheridan.org.

The group will meet at 7 a.m. at the greenhouses located on the Sheridan College campus.

DSA partners with the Sheridan College horticulture program, led by Chuck Holloway, to grow the petunias from seed each spring.

Sheridan College is located at 3059 Coffeen Ave.
