SHERIDAN — The Bighorn Native Plant Society will host a wildflower exploration Saturday at the Amsden Creek Wildlife Habitat Management Area.

Those planning to attend will meet at the K-Mart parking lot near the recycle bins at 8 a.m., arrange carpooling and drive to Amsden Creek.

Overall the hiking conditions are easy to moderate; sturdy boots, long pants and hiking poles are recommended for participants.

Those planning to attend should bring a lunch, water, sun screen and dress according to weather conditions.

The group plans to return by 2 p.m.
