SHERIDAN — The Sheridan Elks Lodge #520 donated copies of America’s founding documents to the four Sheridan County libraries, the Sheridan County public high schools and Normative Services, Inc.

The donated “Heritage Corner” kits consist of reproductions of documents including the Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights, Monroe Doctrine, Gettysburg Address and the original lyrics to “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

Each kit also contained two patriotic resolutions that were adopted by the BPO Elks during the 20th century.
