SHERIDAN — Downtown Sheridan Association, Sheridan Farmers Market and the Sheridan College agriculture department are presenting “Food for Thought.”

“Food for Thought” is a selection of films about food and its connection and importance to our community’s health. The next film will be shown May 16 at 6 p.m. at the DSA community room, 121 South Main St.

“Farm to School: Growing our Future” highlights the connections that exist between health, schools, farms and communities through the eyes of people from diverse backgrounds who describe the challenges and promise of farm to school.A different free film will be presented every two weeks, with the final film being shown July 11.
