SHERIDAN — All 2013 Sheridan County graduating high school seniors are invited to apply for Sheridan-Wyo-Rodeo scholarships.
Three $1,000 scholarships — $500 per semester — will be awarded.

Applicants must graduate from a Sheridan County high school in the spring of 2013 and have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0.

Over the past 20 years, the Sheridan-Wyo-Rodeo has awarded over $55,000 to deserving Sheridan County students.

“We are proud to be involved in the education of today’s youth,” Sheridan-Wyo-Rodeo Board Secretary Vicki Kane said. “As a college education becomes ever more expensive, the Wyo-Rodeo is pleased to be able to help area seniors pursue their studies.”
Requirements, instructions and the applications are available at www.sheridanwyorodeo.com or by calling the Sheridan-Wyo-Rodeo at 672-9715.

The application deadline is April 30.
