DAYTON — The Dayton Planning Committee voted to recommend approval of a minor subdivision at its meeting Wednesday.

The parcel to be subdivided belongs to Tim Garrett and stretches from West Second to West Third Avenue.

It includes one residence located on West Second Avenue.

The proposed subdivision will split the parcel into two lots.

Lot one will be 3.29 acres, and lot two will be .484 acres, town Clerk Linda Lofgren said.

Lofgren said a reason for the subdivision was not discussed at the meeting.

The Dayton Town Council will consider the minor subdivision plat at its meeting Sept. 18.
