SHERIDAN — Tickets for the Wyoming Cowgirls game Friday in Sheridan will be on sale until noon Thursday through the university ticket office.
According to Shane Parker, who is organizing things for SC as host, there are 179 tickets remaining for the game. Tickets will be on sale until noon Thursday, and any remaining will be available at the door.
Friday’s Sheridan Broncs-Cheyenne East Thunderbirds 4A state semifinal will be played at 6 p.m., with time for fans to get to the Cowgirls game against Montana State-Northern, which starts at 8 p.m., at the Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome.
The Broncs are trying for their third state title appearance in five years, playing in a 4A state semifinal playoff game for the sixth year in a row. Both teams are 8-2, and Sheridan won the first match-up, 42-21, Sept. 20 at Homer Scott Field.
The No. 2-seed Sheridan blanked Laramie in their first-round game Friday, 33-0, and No. 3-seed East got past Cheyenne Central 13-7.
Meanwhile, the Big Horn Rams will travel for their 2A state semifinal game. They take on the Lovell Bulldogs at 6 p.m., Friday. Lovell is 9-0 after eliminating Wheatland, 28-18, Friday night. The Rams are 8-1 after dismantling Lyman 52-14 Friday in Big Horn.
