In Monday’s edition of The Sheridan Press a story regarding a house fire that occurred Friday night on Stonegate Drive indicated firefighters had left the scene and returned when insulation reignited. Sheridan Fire-Rescue Marshal Brian Songer clarified that crews from SFR remained at the home to monitor the building while Goose Valley Volunteer Fire Department, Rocky Mountain Ambulance and Sheridan’s police were dismissed from the scene. When the fire began to smoulder and reignite GVVFD firefighters were called back to the scene to assist SFR. The Sheridan Press regrets the error.
