SHERIDAN — The Wyoming Watercolor Society will host the Watercolor Wyoming 32nd annual National Exhibition in Sheridan Aug. 1-31 at the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library.
Paintings in this show are also for sale. Members and non-members are encouraged to enter. Entries are due no later than June 1.
A prospectus can be found on the website, www.wyomingwatercolorsociety.com, or requested via email at email@example.com. Membership information is also available. Awards will be given for Best of Show, Best Wyoming Artist, first through third place, honorable mentions and the People’s Choice Award.
Iain Stewart from Opelika, Alabama, will be the juror for the show and will select the award winners. Stewart will also teach a five-day workshop Aug. 14-18 at the Sheridan County Sportsman Gun Club. Stewart is a watercolor artist/illustrator and a signature member of both the American and National Watercolor Societies. His work has received numerous awards in international competition and he is a sought after juror and workshop instructor. He is also an architectural illustrator with an international clientele.
