Flavor of the week will feature yoga @ Kula Space

“Baby with the Bathwater” @ Carriage House Theatre

SHERIDAN — A new local theater group, the Off-Kilter Fellowship, will present six editions of “Baby With the Bathwater,” July 31- August 2 and August 7-9 nightly at 7:30 p.m. The dark comedy about how difficult it is to be a parent and how scary it is to be a baby is directed by Jacob Claytor and features Carol Nowakowski, Jenn Smith, Donna Gifford, Savannah Hennigh and Garrett Key. The show is for mature audiences only due to strong language and sexual content. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students, seniors and military and will be sold at the door. Sheridan College presents ‘Hoffman Days’ @ Sheridan College

SHERIDAN — The Sheridan College Foundation will host “Hoffman Days”, Friday and Saturday at Sheridan College. Bruce Hoffman has been with the Northern Wyoming Community College District for 50 years, and coached the Generals men’s basketball for 16 years. Friday’s events will begin at 11:30 a.m. and will include a golf scramble and lunch. Saturday’s events will start at 5:30 p.m. and will feature the Bruce Hoffman banquet. Registration deadline is July 25 and both events are $50 per person. The SC Foundation is looking for contact information for any of Hoffman’s former players to invite them to the two-day event, which features a banquet and a roast, recognizing Hoffman’s commitment to NWCCD. SHERIDAN — The Sheridan College Foundation will host “Hoffman Days” Aug. 1-2 at Sheridan College. Bruce Hoffman has been with the Northern Wyoming Community College District for 50 years and coached the Generals men’s basketball for 16 years. All of the players from his coaching days have been invited to join in the recognition. Events will begin Aug. 1 at 11:30 a.m. with a four-person, four-club choice golf scramble over nine holes at Kendrick Golf Course. Registration is $50 per person and includes clubs, a cart and lunch. The deadline to register is Friday. The events of the day will continue with a welcome reception at Sheridan College from 5-7 p.m. Attendees are invited to the new Thorne Rider Campus Center for hors d’oeuvres and spirits for $25 per person. A banquet will be held Aug. 2 featuring a full-service dinner and good-natured roast of Hoffman. The cost to attend is $50 per person. 3-D Archery Shoot

SHERIDAN— The Sheridan County Sportsmans Association will hold a 3-D archery shoot Saturday and Sunday at 8 a.m.  The family friendly event will be at Bear Lodge and costs $10 per shooter. SHERIDAN— The Never Flinch annual Summer Slam will be on Saturday, August 2 at 8 a.m. at the Sheridan YMCA. The annual Summer Slam is a 3-on-3, co-ed grass volleyball tournament that will help raise funds for the Weston Johnson Memorial Scholarship. Grizzly bear ecology tour

SHERIDAN — For the next event in a series of outings celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Wilderness Act of 1964 and the 30th anniversary of the Wyoming Wilderness Act of 1984, the Wyoming Wilderness Association will host a Grizzly Bear ecology tour in the Shoshone National Forest. On Saturday, Chuck Neal, a retired U.S. Department of the Interior ecologist, will lead the group into grizzly bear country and teach the ecology and biology of the bears. Bring a picnic lunch and spend time discussing the anniversary of wilderness areas. The walk will be approximately 5 miles roundtrip, and is a steep uphill climb. Tidbit Tuesdays @ Sheridan County Museum

SHERIDAN — The next offering of the “Tidbit Tuesday” educational program at the Sheridan County Museum will be held next week.
