Forever Plaid @ WYO Theater

The WYO Theater and Sheridan Civic Theater Guild will present “Forever Plaid,” a play by Stuart Ross. Performances will be held at the WYO March 20-23 and 27-30. Thursday-Saturday nights performances commence at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays will be presented at 2 p.m. Comical musical “Forever Plaid” stars Ryan Koltiska, Philip Garber, AJ Longhurst and Michael Gonda as a young men’s singing group in the 50’s who are killed on the way to their first big performance and return to fulfill their dreams. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, students and active military. Tickets may be purchased at the box office located inside the theater at 42 N. Main St., online at www.wyotheater.com or by calling 672-9084.

Healthy Back @ Sheridan County YMCA

SHERIDAN — Sheridan County YMCA will offer a free three-week class starting March 24.

“Healthy Back” is designed by medical professionals to help individuals strengthen their backs.

Program participants will learn 15 simple exercises that can be done daily for back support.

The class is free to all members of the community. Class space is limited to 15 participants and interested individuals must sign up by calling the YMCA.

The program will run from March 24 through April 9 on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

The YMCA is located at 417 N. Jefferson St. For more information or to register for the class call 674-7488.

COPE @ Holiday Inn

Judy Olson, director of Counseling in Overcoming Painful Emotions, will start a nine-week program sponsored by Kane Funeral Home. COPE is an aftercare program designed to help deal with overcoming the loss of a loved one and gain support from others in the community experiencing the same type of grief. Free classes will be offered weekly on Tuesdays at 2 p.m. All members of the community are welcome to attend any or all sessions but reservations are requested. Classes will be held at the Holiday Inn located at 1809 Sugarland Dr. For more information or reservations contact Judy Olson at 672-3336.

Cloud Peak Backcountry Horsemen meeting @ Forest Service office
