The Brinton Museum, Science Kids and the Big Horn Audubon will present the next monthly “Birding at the Brinton” on Saturday.
This free morning of bird watching will run from 9-11 a.m at The Brinton Museum.
All ages and abilities are welcome to join.
Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars if they have them.

The Sheridan County Museum will present “Behind the Scenes Saturday” on Saturday. This free event is open to all with no reservations required. The museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for a behind-the-scenes view at the museum’s operations. The public is invited to come and see what goes on at the museum when the galleries are closed. Attendees will see how employees take down old exhibits, care for the items entrusted to the museum and prepare new items and galleries for new exhibits. There will also be Tidbit activities for children and parents. The museum is located at 850 Sibley Circle, off of the Fifth Street exit of Interstate 90. For more information call 675-1150.
Zumba Fitness will host an open house with free zumba on Saturday. The open house is a celebration of their first year in the new location and their expansion in to nutritional support and health coaching. The occasion will be marked with a ribbon cutting, snacks, refreshments and a free Zumba class. The free event will commence at 10 a.m. and all are welcome to attend. SHERIDAN — The Sagebrush Community Art Center will host a special class “Uncapped” on Feb. 22.
This painting workshop is tailored to adults and children and will be taught by Tongue River High School art student Hannah Johnston.
Johnston will guide the class in a 20X16 painting with local artist Sonja Caywood serving as her assistant. The class will run from 2-4 p.m. at the art center.
The cost to attend is $35 per adult and $25 per child with an adult, with all supplies included.
Johnston is raising money to go to Europe and all proceeds will go toward that cause.
Attendees are invited to bring non-alcoholic beverages.

The Sagebrush Community Art Center will host another “Uncorked” workshop on Tuesday. “Sunshine Poppies” will offer music, fun and step-by-step guidance from local artist Sonja Caywood on painting your own 20X16 acrylic sunshine poppy painting. The event is open to all and all supplies are included in the price of admission. Space is limited and pre-registration is requested. Registration costs $5 per adult and $25 for children and can be made by calling the art center at 674-1970. The art center is located inside the Historic Train Depot at 201 E. Fifth St.
The Sheridan Community Land Trust will host their 2014 annual open house on Feb. 27.
From 5-8 p.m. at the Historic Sheridan Inn, Polish appetizers and music will be offered in honor of the completion of the Black Diamond Historic Byway.
Mike Kuzara, a one-man polka band, will perform and attendees will have the opportunity to listen to the Byway audio tour.
The 2013 annual report and 2014 upcoming projects will also be presented.
Raffles winners will also be drawn.

The Wyoming Water Color Association will present “Pub Painting” an Artists in Motion fundraiser. On Friday at 5 p.m. the artists of the association will paint and sell their works inside the corner pub at Fifth Street and Main Street. There is no cost to attend but attendees must be age 21 or older to enter the pub. The WWCA offers classes to educate people on the art and Artists in Motion is a grassroots movement to bring art to the masses. Attendees’ participation is welcome.
