Sep 9 @ 8:00 am – 1:00 pm

SHERIDAN — The United Methodist men will host a parking lot sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

For this annual event, members of the public are invited to rent space to sell their items and just stop by to shop and grab a bite to eat.

Coffee and cinnamon rolls will be available for purchase for breakfast and hamburgers will be available for lunch.

You can rent a space and bring your own table for $10, rent space and one table for $15 or space and two tables for $20. If you don’t want to go through the trouble of setting up to sell the “treasures” you have accumulated over the years, you can donate the items and UMC will sell them. UMC will pick up donated items on the Thursday and Friday before the sale.

As in past years, The Salvation Army and Habitat for Humanity Restore will be notified to come down at the end of the sale and have their pick of any of the items leftover. Sheridan Foster Parent Exchange has also been invited to come down and pick from whatever is left after the sale.

To reserve tables/spaces, or schedule a pick-up for donated items call Rollie Hein at 763-2141 or call the church office at 672-9779. All the proceeds from the donated items, tables and food will go to the men’s group at the church. In the past year, the Methodist Men’s Group has donated money or gift cards to Volunteers of America, Lunch Together, Circle J Camp, The Food Group, Christmas Coat Tree, Native American Ministries and Project Graduation.
