SC to conduct ‘Intense Innovation’ course @ Sheridan College Broadway Center

SHERIDAN — Sheridan College and Timberline Training will host a course on Intense Innovation from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Broadway Center.

The goal of the course is to help create a thriving culture of innovation within an organization. It will teach personal innovation skills, innovative idea creation and a process for implementation.

The cost of the course is $200, which includes lunch.

Brown Bag, After Hours lectures to focus on embracing change @ Downtown Sheridan Association

SHERIDAN — Lynn Gordon plans to focus on embracing change for the next round of Brown Bag and After Hours lectures.

The Brown Bag lecture is Tuesday at 12:10 p.m.

There will be a repeat presentation Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunches Tuesday.

Both lectures will be held at the Downtown Sheridan Association, located at 150 S. Main St.

Young at Heart Players to perform next week @ Sheridan Senior Center

SHERIDAN — The Young at Heart Players, under the direction of Pat Tomsovic, will present three performances next week. 

The group will perform “Who’s Herbert” and “Any Body for Tea.”

“Who’s Herbert” takes place in a retirement home as two women try to remember exactly who Herbert was married to and whether the man on stage is, in fact, Herbert.

“Any Body for Tea” concerns Detective Dennis O’Finn, who is investigating the death of an elderly lady.

Both plays will be performed at 1:30 p.m. March 9-11 at the Sheridan Senior Center.

The suggested contribution is $2 at the door.

The Sheridan Senior Center is located at 211 Smith St.
