Give With Impact @ Shall We Dance ballroom

SHERIDAN — Local nonprofit Bought Beautifully will host its holiday gift market, Give With Impact, Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event will feature trunk shows with products from the nonprofit’s 40 partners around the globe.

The market will take place at the Shall We Dance ballroom, located at 20 S. Tschirgi St.

Holiday Express bazaar @ United Methodist church

SHERIDAN — The United Methodist Women will host the Holiday Express bazaar Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church.

The market will include crafts, Christmas decorations, collectibles, books and more. Food will also be available for purchase for breakfast and lunch.  All proceeds from the bazaar will benefit the United Methodist Women’s missions. For additional information, call 672-9779.

Turkey Bowl @ Homer Scott Field

SHERIDAN — The Sheridan Recreation District will host a co-ed Turkey Bowl flag football tournament Nov. 18.

Games will start at 9 a.m. and be over by 6 p.m. All games will be played at Homer Scott Field at Sheridan High School.

The tournament is open to any and all adults ages 16 or older. Teams must include eight players — four men and four women. All teams are guaranteed at least two games.

To register, contact the Sheridan Recreation District at 674-6421, see sheridanrecreation.com or stop by the office at 1579 Thorne-Rider Park Drive. The cost is $100 per team.

The winning team will receive T-shirts.

Pie auction @ Big Horn Mountain Eagles facility

SHERIDAN — The Big Horn Mountain Eagles #4169 will host its annual pie auction Saturday beginning at 5:30 p.m.

There will also be a wing and poppers contest. The entry fee is $5 per entry. The event will also include a raffle for a Traeger Grill and a Christmas sleigh full of goodies. The raffle will benefit Joey’s Foundation and Shop With A Cop.

SHERIDAN — The next round of Livestrong at the YMCA will begin Tuesday.

Livestrong at the YMCA is a national program committed to reaching out to cancer survivors who deserve the opportunity to reclaim or gain their health following their cancer diagnosis and beyond. 

The 12-week program is free, takes place in a clean and supportive environment and is facilitated by specially trained instructors. The goal of this program is to provide cancer survivors with a unique healing experience in a supportive environment. It is open to all cancer survivors whether newly diagnosed or 20 years out. 

The program will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to noon between Sept. 19 and Dec. 14. Call Desiree Pearce at the YMCA for more information or to sign up, 674-7488.

‘Something Different’ @ The Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library

SHERIDAN — The Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library staff will continue to host the after-school program “Something Different.” 

The programs geared toward tweens will focus on a different topic and hands-on activity each week.

The program is planned for Tuesdays at 3:30 p.m.

The Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library is located at 335 W. Alger St.
