Big Horn Mountain Festival @ Buffalo
Jul 20 – Jul 22 all-day

BUFFALO — The dates for the 2018 Big Horn Mountain Festival have been set for July 20-22.

“Traditionally the Big Horn Mountain Festival has been on the second full weekend of July, but for the next several years that weekend conflicts with other local and regional events, including the WYO Rodeo in Sheridan,” said Paul Jarvis, one of the organizers of the event. “We have decided to move our festival one week later so local residents, merchants, vendors, motels and visitors can take advantage of all the events. We plan to have the Big Horn Mountain Festival on the third weekend in July for the foreseeable future.”

The Big Horn Mountain Festival will begin at the Johnson County Fairground in Buffalo the afternoon of July 20 and run until late in the afternoon July 22.

In addition to the band performances, the festival features workshops, demonstrations, instrument raffles, food, refreshment, and arts and crafts vendors.

Organizers of the Big Horn Mountain Festival are currently scheduling a lineup of bluegrass, old time, folk and progressive acoustic music for the 14th annual festival next July. Stay up to date on festival information at www.bighornmountainfestival.com.

The festival also offers the Big Horn Bluegrass Camp, a day camp for kids from 8-18, which will run the third week in July at the Johnson County Fairgrounds.

“We’re hoping everyone will mark their calendar now for July 20-22, 2018, and make plans to attend the 14th Big Horn Mountain Festival,” Jarvis said. “We are proud to again offer this opportunity for an enjoyable music festival which benefits our community.”
