SHERIDAN — The Sheridan College basketball teams will play a doubleheader tonight against Colorado Northwestern.

The Lady Generals (6-4) play at 5 p.m., and the No. 21-ranked Generals (8-2) play at 7 p.m.

The Generals busy holiday week continues Friday and Saturday in the annual Lion’s Club Tournament. Men’s games are at 7 p.m. both days, and the women’s games are at 5 p.m.

The Sheridan men are led by Fred Dure, a sophomore bound for Arkansas State next season, who is scoring 13.8 points per game.

For the Lady Generals, Freshman Sierra Toms, of Gillette, and sophomore Madison Forney, of Rawlins, are scoring 13.8 and 13.6 respectively.

The women play Eastern Wyoming College Friday, a team that defeated them earlier this year in Torrington. Saturday they’ll play Malstrom AFB.

For the Generals, its Dakota College first and then Laramie County on Saturday.
