SHERIDAN — State Sen. Bruce Burns, R-Sheridan, has announced his intention to run for re-election in November to seek his fourth term in the Wyoming Legislature.
Burns said he has been humbled by the trust placed in him by the residents of Sheridan over the last 12 years.
“I’m still healthy, have the institutional knowledge, the respect of my fellow legislators, and the desire to serve,” Burns said in a media release.
Burns has been a senior member of the Judiciary Committee and has served as chairman of the Senate Travel, Recreation, Wildlife and Cultural Resources Committee for the past 10 years.
Burns represents Senate District 21.
