SHERIDAN — The Sheridan High School Booster Club voted last week to support funding for the renovation of locker rooms and the addition of a sports medicine facility at Sheridan High School.
The Booster Club unanimously voted to commit $100,000 over the next three years.
Funds will be raised through normal activity fundraisers, including their annual golf tournament, banners, money calendars and sport calendars.
“It is the Booster Club’s intent to show how important this project is for our students by committing to this amount,” SHS Activities Director Don Julian said. “Our goal is to find a donor interested in matching the Booster Club’s amount over the next three years.”
The club is planning more fundraising activities as the project proceeds.
“We’re very excited to kick this off, it’s what our student athletes need and what our parents want for our programs,” Julian said.
Project updates will begin to show up on the Booster Club’s Facebook in the near future.
