SHERIDAN — Sheridan’s Bike to Work Week is May 13-17.
There will be a team competition from May 13-19.
Sign up your team of five to 10 people. The cost is $5 per team member.
Individual team members will track their hours on a bike — biking outside, in spin classes or any indoor bicycle.
The team with the highest percentage hours will win prizes from local merchants.
Bonus points will be given for participation in Bike to Breakfast on May 17 and for volunteering with Flowers Up/Clean Up day May 18 in downtown Sheridan.
The team registration deadline is tomorrow. Registration forms can be found online at wellnesscouncilsc.org or at downtownsheridan.org.
Submit registrations to Michele Fritz by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or drop off payment and registration to Journeys Center of Wellbeing at 37 S. Main St. or to the Downtown Sheridan Associaton at 121 S. Main St. Checks should be made out to the Wellness Council of Sheridan County.
The Bike to Breakfast event will be May 17 from 7-9 a.m. on the Sheridan pathways. There will be free breakfast at stations on the pathways.
