SHERIDAN — Six Big Horn Elementary Students helped the Dog and Cat Shelter to the tune of $1,046.
Aleyah Eisele, Mary Nicholson, Mallory Arneson, Kate Alsup, Sheridan Blackburn and Alexa Bradshaw who are better known as the Teeny Tiny Toilets Destination Imagination Team used bake sales and raffles to help raise the funds.

“We like helping the Dog and Cat Shelter because we know we are helping animals,” said Alsup.
Local students take part in Destination Imagination challenge (see local winners on page 8), and as part of their project the Big Horn students had to perform a community service act. All six said they enjoy cats and dogs so they were eager to help the shelter.

“I thought we should do it, because it was the most needed and it would be fun,” said Mary Nicholson.
The funds will go towards building a puppy nursery for the shelter.
