SHERIDAN — National Trails Day is Saturday, and the Cloud Peak Backcountry Horsemen will observe the day with a cleanup session at the Elgin Park trailhead located west of Buffalo.
Participants should meet at the trailhead by 9 a.m. Volunteers may arrive on Friday and camp overnight.
Most work will be done on foot at the trailhead, such as repairing the high line and cleaning fire pits.
Some people will do trail clearing on horseback.
Non-members are welcome to participate.
