2015 Wyoming Cattle Industry Convention and Trade Show @ Sheridan Holiday Inn

SHERIDAN — The 2015 Wyoming Cattle Industry Convention and Trade Show will be held June 3-6 at the Holiday Inn in Sheridan. With a theme of “Nuts and Bolts of Your Industry,” the convention will focus on understanding the behind-the-scenes work done by national and state organizations.

The annual convention is hosted by the Wyoming Stock Growers Association and is open to members and non-members.

The convention will feature presentations about various organizations, agencies, the University of Wyoming and Sheridan College as well as important issues in Wyoming agriculture.

Highlights include:

  • a presentation by Miss Wyoming 2014, Jessie Allen, and Sen. Dave Kinskey, R-Sheridan, on “Leading for Wyoming Agriculture” on June 4
  • a “Nuts and Bolts of State Agencies” panel discussion on June 4
  • a Cattlemen’s Club luncheon on June 4
  • discussions and annual reports by various beef associations and councils on June 5
  • discussion of generational ranch transfers by several Sheridan attorneys
  • addresses by State Treasurer Mark Gordon and Gov. Matt Mead
  • a panel on sage grouse on June 5
  • a dinner banquet on June 5 featuring Dave Munsick
  • a Roundup Breakfast on June 6 with congressional representatives

Juke Joint Jump concert with SheridanAires @ Sheridan Senior Center

SHERIDAN — The SheridanAires will present ‘Juke Joint Jump’ on June 4 and 5 at the Sheridan Senior Center.

This choir concert will feature special guests Heidi Parker and Morgan Parker.

On June 4, the concert will begin at 1:30 p.m.

On June 5, the concert will include dinner at 6 p.m. and the show at 7:15 p.m.

Cost for dinner is a suggested $10 donation.

RSVP is requested for dinner by calling the Sheridan Senior Center at 672-2240.
