SHERIDAN—The Sheridan Fulmer Library will host an artist reception for Charlotte Mehmke on Wednesday from 4-6 p.m. on the mezzanine. Mehmke’s work is currently displayed in an exhibit titled “Women’s History: Founding Mothers” on the library’s mezzanine. Mehmke has sewn and hand stitched several women’s dresses representing various periods of American history. The dresses range from gowns to simple dresses that would have been worn by female slaves. BIG HORN—The Big Horn Women’s Club is having their first fall meeting Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the clubhouse. Participants will be informed of the history and etiquette of tea by French pastry chef and food historian Louise Morand. Dress for a tea party, including hats. SHERIDAN— The Sheridan County Sportmen’s Association is having free sight in days this weekend. On Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. the rifle ranges will be free and open to the public. Range officers will be available and targets will be provided. All you need to bring is your firearm and ammunition. For more information call 672-6450.

Potential blood donors must be at least 16 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, be in good health, and bring picture identification.
