SHERIDAN— The Rib and Chop House in Sheridan is taking nominations for “Best in Class”, a local teacher award. The winner will receive $1,000 from Wyoming Rib and Chop House. SHERIDAN—Judy Olson, director of COPE, “Counseling in Overcoming Painful Emotions”, will be starting a nine week program sponsored by Kane Funeral Home. COPE is an aftercare program designed to help deal with overcoming the loss of a loved one and gain support from others in the community experiencing the same type of grief. SHERIDAN — The next and final Sheridan Farmers Market will be held Thursday on Grinnell Plaza. From 5-7 p.m. vendors will sell produce, arts and crafts and more as live music, children’s activities, demonstrations and nonprofit booths are hosted. This week’s activities include an acoustic set by Bill Heide. Attendance is free for customers and vendor booths are available to rent. SHERIDAN— The Presbyterian women will hold their annual fall rummage sale this weekend. From 8 a.m. until noon Friday and Saturday there will be clothing, shoes, toys, and books on sale.
