SHERIDAN — The next balance and movement with gentle yoga class with Cindy Baker has been scheduled for Wednesday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. This class is designed to increase strength, balance, flexibility and to help people be more conscious of how they breathe. SHERIDAN— The FAB (for, about, by) women’s conference is Friday and Saturday. Friday is the Woman of the Year banquet with last year’s winner, Erin Kilbride as the keynote speaker. Saturday is the conference, with keynote speaker Stephanie Armstrong. The banquet is $50 per ticket, the conference is $50, and for both nights, tickets are $75. SHERIDAN—Landon’s Greenhouse invites the public to attend two workshops this Saturday. At 10 a.m., the workshop will focus on pumpkin centerpieces. The cost is $19.99 for the workshop. Then at 2 p.m. you can bring in any container you want for a Fall fairy gardening makeover. There will be a fee for soil used and Landon’s plants and decor you decorate your garden with. UCROSS—The artwork of Sheridan College art instructor Tawni Shuler will be on display this fall at the Ucross Foundation Art Gallery.
The opening reception will be held on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 3-5 p.m. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
