SHERIDAN— Pedigree and GreaterGood have teamed up to give selected shelters across the nation a makeover.
The Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter has been selected to receive renovation, and needs volunteers to help finish the project.
The renovations will begin Aug. 23 and 24 at 9 a.m.

SHERIDAN— Blacktooth Brewing will host a non-profit event on Tuesday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. For every pint sold, one dollar is donated to the Matthew Perkins Memorial Scholarship Fund. The Matthew Perkins Memorial Scholarship Fund is money that helps to subsidize educational travel opportunities for Sheridan High School and Fort McKenzie High School students. 50/50 tickets will be sold and Thrivent Builds will provide free hotdogs. SHERIDAN— The Cloud Peak chapter of the Backcountry Horsemen will hold their monthly meeting on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the home of Dwight French. A steak fry and potluck will be served. BIG HORN— Professional polo announcer and young horse trainer Gus Whitelaw will be at the Brinton Barn in Big Horn Wednesday.
At 10 a.m. Whitelaw will give a horse demonstration and talk about training a young horse, getting a polo horse used to “traffic,” the polo ball, field work and other horse-related topics.
