Shakespeare at Mars Theatre @ Mars Theater

SHERIDAN—The Sheridan College Theater Department is proud to present a theatrical double feature of William Shakespeare’s “Hamlet” and Gerry Hansen’s Commedia dell’Arte play “Ros & Guild”. At the new Mars Theater August 15-24. Shows are at 7 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays and at 2 p.m. on Sundays. The second feature of the evening is Gerry Hansen’s new farce “Ros and Guild,” which places Shakespeare’s “Hamlet” in the topsy-turvy world of Commedia. Both plays are directed by Hansen, whose nimble staging sets the iconic “Hamlet” up so that it can be punched squarely in the funny bone by “Ros and Guild.” Tickets are available at the WYO Theater box office at 672-9084 or www.wyotheater.com. General Admission is $10. High school and college student admission is free with valid student ID. This event is rated PG. BHHS students to perform ‘Just a Little Crazy’ @ Big Horn High School

BIG HORN — The students of Big Horn High School will present “Just a Little Crazy,” their fall play, on Thursday and Friday.

At 7 p.m. daily the students will perform the tale of a girl and her parents who are in a big tizzy because they just moved into a turn of the century house, they are trying to remodel and the husband’s wacky sister comes to live with them. Misunderstandings, mixed feelings and hilarity ensue.

The play stars Kendall Meich, Trinity St. John, Joely Mueller, Karsyn Ulivarri, Colter Stanley and Makayla Morris and is directed by Monty and Carol Webb.

Tickets for adults are $2, students are $1 and BHHS students and children under 10 are free.

The performance will be held at the Big Horn Schools’ auditorium, located in the high school at 333 Highway 335, Big Horn.

Prisoner of Second Avenue @ Carriage House Theater

SHERIDAN — The Sheridan Civic Theatre Guild will perform “The Prisoner of Second Avenue,” at the Carriage House Theater this weekend.

Dimitra Dugal will direct the dramatic play by Neil Simon in which a well-paid executive of a high-end Manhattan firm gets the ax. While things fall apart around the executive, he does the only thing he can — he has a nervous breakdown and it’s the best thing that ever happened to him.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for students, seniors and active military. Tickets are available at the WYO Theater box office or by calling 672-9084. Tickets may also be purchased one hour before each of the performances.

Performances are set for Friday through Sunday and Nov. 21-23. Show times are 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. on Sundays.
